Discover one of the most authentic nature experiences in Greece! The Granitsiotis Gorge, hidden in the heart of Western Agrafa, combines impressive hiking and exciting kayaking in a unique landscape of wild beauty.
Our adventure begins with a hike high in the gorge, through dense holm oak forest and among steep rocks, narrow passages and natural caves. We soon reach a magical spot: the confluence of the Granitsiotis and Acheloos rivers, where a small, exotic delta with a sandy beach is formed.
We descend towards the gorge, to the Evrytos climbing area, and after a short journey we reach our kayaks. From here the aquatic experience begins: we cross the turquoise waters of Granitsiotis and continue to the imposing Acheloos, amidst a setting full of wildlife and natural harmony.
Along the route, we will enjoy lush vegetation with plane trees, willows and poplars, while picturesque, almost forgotten villages emerge on the slopes. We stop at a shady beach for rest and snacks, before continuing towards the magnificent Kremasta Lake.
There, nature reveals its grandeur: fjords, small islands and tranquil waters compose a breathtaking landscape.
