Kayaking on Kremasta Lake

Discover one of the most impressive and unexplored destinations in Greece. Kremasta Lake, with its turquoise waters, impressive fjords and scattered small islands, creates a landscape reminiscent of an exotic destination and enchants every visitor from the first moment.

It is the largest artificial lake in Greece and one of the cleanest in Europe, offering ideal conditions for activities in nature and absolute relaxation.

The area is a wildlife sanctuary, hosting rare and protected species such as the otter, the wolf and the golden eagle, and is part of the Natura 2000 network. Around the lake, rich Mediterranean vegetation spreads with holly, holm oak, sycamore, oak and plane trees, creating a unique natural setting.

The experience begins at the Sivista pier, where we board the kayaks and begin our exploration of this aquatic paradise. Along the way, we visit the island of Agios Nikolaos with the historic castle of Karolos Tokkos dominating the top.

We stop for a picnic in an idyllic spot by the water, while in the summer months you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the crystal clear waters of the lake.

The route continues towards the mouth of the Acheloos River, constantly revealing new, impressive landscapes, before we return to the pier full of images and experiences.
